Let me explain about your assignment for this week. You will be making a Voki and using it to talk about your favourite song. Here’s an example I made.
Now here’s what you’re going to do.
1. First of all you need to make a Voki. Go to www.voki.com.
2. Create a voki. It can look like you, but you can also make a fantasy character.
If you don’t remember all of the explanation from class, you will find a video and the powerpoint presentation at the bottom of this page.
3. Write down what you want your Voki to say: You should include 4 things.
- An introduction, like: “Hi, my name is ….. I would like to talk to you about my favourite song.
- Some of the words from the song. You can find the words by searching google using the song name and the word “lyrics”.
- Why you like this song so much. What does it remind you of.
- Ask people to guess what song it is.
4. Record the text with your Voki. You can record with the microphone or type the words into the text box.
5. Next email the voki to me: my email address is pas -at – wolfert – punt -nl
